Spring Melt brings rise in River - 7th of Melting
Due to warmer than usual weather this past Tenday, the melting snow from the nearby mountains is draining into Grey's Deep much faster than normal.
The river level has risen nearly 2 feet to try and accomodate the additional water.
Residents have been warned to stay away from the fast flowing water. Several stray cows were lost when they were grazing too close to the edge of the river. The flowing water undercut the bank they were on and it collapsed, throwing them downstream to some unknown fate.
