12th of Eleint - Regulators Return
Late in the Evening on the 12th, a small caravan of wagons entered town. The Bishop from Waterdeep among the crowd.
Initially a small group of townsfolk were present at the arrival, but word quickly spread. In a matter of minutes, almost the entire town was on hand to witness the arrival.
The Bishop emerged from his wagon, dressed in a fine white robe and walked carrying a golden staff. He waved to the crowd and said many kind words to the good people of the town.
The crowd followed the Bishop as he made his way to the Church of Lathander and met Abbott Tolder at the steps. A cheer went up as the Bishop took to the top steps and proceeded to give a speech.
He spoke of the strong heart of all those who live in this area. He acknowledged that life here was difficult, but that they had the blessings of Lathander on their side. While times may seem dark right now, they need to persevere.
As he concluded his speech, he gathered up his robe and entered the church, followed by Abbott Toler.

Over the next several days, the Bishop met with Abbott Toler at some length.
He also spent several hours examining the staff currently being used by Seraph.
Apparently the Staff is a key to some sort of lock. No one is quite sure right now what it protects, but only time will tell. For now the Bishop instructed Seraph and the Regulators to guard the staff and be wary of anyone who would take it from them.

::: Seraph, recognizing the importance of the Staff, feels it is imperative to learn more about the Netherese language and culture. Over the next several days, Seraph pours over any tomes, manuscripts and references he can get his hands on to learn more about the Netherese. In addition, Seraph makes several trips to the Church of Lathander to see if any new ancient works can be found.
During those days, Seraph tells his fellow Regulators that he will be making a journey to the ruins where Nimbus resides. There he hopes to learn the language of the former Netheril Empire. :::
After spending several days pouring through old dusty tomes and meeting with Enin Rayod, the town Alchemist and Abbot Toler to discuss ancient history, little more information can be found regarding the Staff of Tavspur, nor it's creator.
By the 17th of Elient, all of Seraph's avenues of research have been exhausted in town.
::: After five days of research in town, Seraph decides to take his research to the ruins where Nimbus resides.
Gathering gear for the journey, Seraph makes his way around town asking if any of the Regulators (and only Regulators), if they would like to accompany him.
Seraph points out to Rohavic that Nimbus may also be able to train him on new combat techniques which some of the other Regulators took advantage of. :::
"Sure, Seraph... I will accompany you to the ruins you mentioned. I would be interested in learning from this Nimbus. When can we start?"
Let's leave in the morning. None of the other Regulators seem to have an interest in going. I must warn you, Nimbus, like Birchnor, doesn't take to strangers, so you may have to prove yourself to him before he will train you. I will do my best to persuade him.
::: Seraph looks up and feels the afternoon breeze blow across his face. He then smiles contently. :::
I can feel Lathander's presence in the breeze. I think we will fare well on our journey tomorrow morning.
Have a good rest Rohavic and may the dawn bring renewal to you.
