22rd of Eleasis - A Meeting with the Abbott
The Abbott was very surprised when the Regulators emerged from the tunnel beneath the Church in such ragged shape.
The acolytes quickly assited the party out of the tunnel and onto nearby cots. There they began tended to their wounds. During this time, the Abbott discussed their findings below ground and seemed quite disturbed by what they had encountered.
"Now that the area is clear however, a full investigation of the area will begin immediately. The Regulators are to be rewarded for their efforts on the behalf of the church. We are deeply grateful for your assistance in this matter. As I said before, we will offer our services to anyone of you, up to 2,000 GP worth of value."
The Abbott fumbles around in his robes for a moment and pulls forth a letter.
"It would seem that the Church of Lathander in Waterdeep seems to know that our little town has been having its difficulties. They are dispatching a Bishop and his entourage to investigate some of the strange things going on around here. He should be arriving in about 2 TenDays. I'm not sure if he knows about what you just found here or not, but his arrival will be a surprise to the entire town."
With that the Abbott quickly stands back up and begins casting some additional healing and blessing spells upon members of the party. Within minutes, all the wounds and bruises have been healed and the party is left with a relaxed and revitalized feeling.
"You may rest here for as long as you wish and feel free to leave at any time." As he bows before the group he notices the staff cap on Seraph's weapon. He seems a bit taken aback by it.
"I saw that weapon in one of my visions. Handled by some awful scaly beast. But oddly there were 2 ends to it. One of Air and one of Water. I think it is a sign that you of all people have come into it's posession Seraph. I am not fully aware of it's significance, but I feel you must safeguard this item at all costs."
With that, the Abbott again nods to the party and quickly departs, leaving them to rest on the cots and get some rest.
